Even Though Stacie-Rae attended Art School and enjoyed a professional Tattoo Apprenticeship, she was troubled by how there is no standardization in Education or Regulation in this field.
Consider this - A hairdresser or makeup artist need at least 1 year of full-time education, and these days tattooers are 'learning' how to tattoo by watching youtube videos and purchasing knock-off pigments & needles, unethically, through amazon.com or walmart.com, even though the FDA has now been finding dangerous chemicals in these substandard products.
With no oversight to these problems, Stacie-Rae has ruffled quite a few feathers demanding change in this arena, to the point of getting a whole gang of haters, too! Let them hate, we think YOU deserve better ;)
Did you know that Doctors and Nurses are not required to take ANY basic tattoo training to tattoo areolas in the hospital!!! Leading to a significant reduction in the quality of life for breast cancersurvivors and previvors around the world, supported by the medical field, no less. And Cosmetic Tattooists are not required to have drawing skills or scar experience. You deserve a highly skilled specialist!
