Why I write
I grew up with my nose in a book, either out in the sun or inside on the many rainy westcoast days. My parents both loved music and my mom and I would change lyrics to songs to make them goofy. Being creative has always been there, and I've always adored hearing a sharp or lyrical way with words.
What I didn't know back then was how passionate I would become about tattooing and transformation, and I did not know I had my own transformation ahead of me. Now I have a message to share, and I'm not afraid of using my words to do so.
Every poetic heart has a style, a personal way with words, and I've always just loved sitting with words and experiencing that particular story, told in the way of the person who was there!
Here is my story, it is one of possibility and beauty. What is possible in this realm of tattooing and how can we contribute to that by expressing our own brand of beauty? What are we able to create with passion?
